We belong to the Holy Synod of the Genuine Orthodox Christians of Greece (GOC – Archbishop Kallinikos). We follow the traditional Church calendar (i.e. Julian Calendar, called by some ‘the Old Calendar’) and maintain the traditional teachings and practice of the historic Church. Accordingly, we reject all changes and innovations, and especially those which are undertaken in the name of ecumenism or modernism. We do not participate in syncretistic worship (‘we all worship the same god’) and we do not share the Holy Mysteries with other jurisdictions that do participate in syncretistic worship.
The faithful of our Synod come from a wide variety of ethnic backgrounds. While English is the primary language of worship, some parishes also incorporate other languages.
